Jessie lives in a small fishing village. After a long day at sea Jessie decides to visit his childhood friend Tom. Before he can even enter Tom's house strange things begin to happen. The events that follow will have you guessing. What is happening? Where are all the people of the village? Each time Jessie has a vision it is quickly replaced with another more puzzling than the last. Where is Tom? Soon Jessie begins to realize that his friend Tom is more than a friend. Is it possible? Is Tom a witch?

Jessie has become a threat to Tom and his family's secret. Will Tom be able to hold true to family values or will he be able to break free for Jessie's sake? The ending may surprise you.

 Flash of Life is a blending of having powers, good, evil and traditional religion in God as one in the same. It is a true fantasy book that catches you from the first with excitement, bewilderment, intrigue, and just plain curiosity of how will Mae the main character defeat the other powers? The word pictures the author provided is fantastic and made me emotionally feel as I was there. It seemed every sentence was an attention getter and the suspense of the story with each paragraph I read. I would recommend this book to those who liked a good fantasy. It’ a 4****Star
